Export
InnoExport simplifies the export process, allowing you to fine-tune and customize the way you export your design assets.
Default Export Settings
By default, InnoExport will use the iOS preset for exporting assets. The iOS preset is specifically designed for iOS app development, ensuring compatibility with Apple’s guidelines. For more details about presets, please refer to the Presets section.
Customizing Export Settings
In each layer card, you have the ability to configure the behavior of the export process. The layer card is divided into three sections: Preview, Export, and Compression. By default, only the Preview section and an input field to define the asset’s name are displayed. You can expand the card using the icons or buttons at the top of the interface, as described in the Customize Layer Selection and Card View section.
Exporting Multiple Images
You can export multiple images with different formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF and SVG) and presets in the Export section. There is a combo box to select the desired values to meet your project requirements. To export multiple assets with different configurations, click the Add button to add a new combo box. The result is a collection of images with varying formats and presets.
Initiating the Export
After you’ve configured your export settings, use the “Export” button at the top of the interface to start the export process. Once the export is complete, a modal will appear, allowing you to choose where to save the resulting ZIP file.
Be caution to export a layer too large.
If you want to export a layer which has a huge demensions (say
10000x10000 px), after you click the Export button, you may find Figma
loses response to any interactions for up to servral minutes. This is because
Figma trying to export and send the raw image data to InnoExport in the main
thread. InnoExport have no control of this behavior. Please be patient and
wait for the entire process to be done.
